PRAKASH

PRAKASH is the Annual Event of the Kartavya (an effort of college students towards educated India), Description 6th Annual Function of Kartavya PRAKASH'16 on 17 January 2016 Venue: Penman Auditorium, ISM Dhanbad Events: A) Science Exhibition B) Social Event: it is a Poster Presentation competition. Title: “Swachh Bharat Mission” Topics: The aim of poster presentation should emphasis your view on current status and condition of India and what changes you Suggest. C) Case Study: Each team has to prepare a Power Point presentation of maximum 5 minutes. Problem Statement: There is a slum basti in dhanbad having 40-45 houses, each having minimum 6-7 members including parents and their children. Daily income of parents is less than 100 Rs per day so it is very difficult for them to provide good education, medical facilities and basic amenities for their children because of which they have to suffer a lot due to lack of good employment. Any employment having minimum investment and being a good source of income will help them a lot to raise their standard of living and will provide them basic amenities of life. You have to provide 2-3 ways (being business or job) by which their standard of living can be increased. (Parents of those children are assumed to be uneducated)

Event Structure: 1. Round 1: It is school level round. From all participant teams at a school only two teams for science exhibition and two teams for social event will be selected. For case study each team will mail their presentation to prakash.kartavaya@gmail.com Qualified teams will be notified and participate in final round. 2. Round 2: Selected team will participate in this round which will be held at Penman, ISM Dhanbad. Rules: 1. A team should consist of only 3 members at max. 2.
